About our Enrichment Program 

Looking to join our Homeschool Enrichment Program?
Our Enrichment Program is a unique blend of offering agricultural enrichments on a farm-based setting, infused with curriculum to build a deeper understanding of all things. 

Our enrichment program's is located at Heartland Farms Community Garden and offers class sessions that are agricultural enrichments such as: gardening and crop/agricultural production,  and animal care, husbandry and production.  Each session on the farm is instructor-led where students can develop and build their farm-based knowledge and ultimately have exposure to farm-life, and understand where their food comes from, and how to grow and harvest it. 

Learners have the opportunity to meet weekly on a farm-based setting, 2 days weekly, or 4 days weekly, and have structured weekly academic lessons laid out, and organized for parents to easily work through with their children at their own pace. At Heartland Academy, we are not a school. We make school better!

To join our Enrichment Program, your child must be enrolled in a Charter School (either Homeschool or Independent Study Program) or a Private School, and may utilize our Enrichment Program as an additional academic/farm-based enrichment opportunity.

• 4 days per week Tuition Option:
  • $5,450 yearly per student with payment options in 10 installments of $545 from August through May. Additional fees include a $250 enrollment fee, uniform fee (community/on-ground days) $55, and costs for curriculum (that vary by grade level) and limited student supplies. 
  • 2026-2027 Academic Year - September 8-May 27
• 2 days per week Tuition Option:
  • $3,650 yearly per student with payment options in 10 installments of $365 from August through May. Additional fees include a $250 enrollment fee, uniform fee (community/on-ground days) $55, and costs for curriculum (that vary by grade level) and limited student supplies. 
  • 2026-2027 Academic Year - September 8-May 27

​What are the Benefits of this option?

• If we are an approved vendor through your Charter School, you may be able to use your stipends allocated for our services.  (inquire about our approved vendor list)
• We offer a balance for families who do not want a mainstream school experience, but also do not want to do it alone! 
• You may be able to apply many of our enrichment curriculum supplements to own (or your charters) curriculum) choice for your child's educational journey.
• We offer a community for learners to see each other weekly (fully optional + customizable), grow relationships and form friendships.
• We offer a unique farm-based experience that gives learners the opportunity to experience gardening, and farm animal care daily!
